The International Monorail Association is excited to invite you to join its 17th annual conference Monorailex. The leading international professional conference covers all aspects of monorail systems. The event will take place from 17 to 20 September 2026 in Cairo, Egypt and will include technical visits to the new „East of Nile“ monorail line.

Monorailex is designed to provide a platform for presenting new research, latest developments, and operational findings related to monorail systems. The conference serves as a forum for experts in transportation planning, industry suppliers, system integrators, infrastructure services, researchers, operators, consultants, academic and certification bodies to share ideas and discuss innovations in the field.

The program will feature expert lectures and scholarly presentations that showcase monorail projects in operation, and innovative research in monorail systems. This is an opportunity to gain valuable insights, exchange feedback, and explore innovative solutions that will shape the future of sustainable urban mobility.
